His First Name was Trey Kiska Campbell. His father had been a member of the Bone Gnawers when he was with Trey's mother, but died shortly after the boy's conception. Trey's mother was kinfolk, though no tribe knew how she was related. He had two siblings, a younger brother and an older sister, both of which are still his kin.

By the age of 18 he still had not been through his change, and the guardian sent to watch and wait for him was recalled as it was assumed that he would not change. He had become quite close to a friend of his after high school and a few days before he went off to college, they ended up as bystanders to a botched robbery which left Trey shot. The other boy, thinking it was the only way to save his friend, revealed his kindred nature to Trey and attempted to Embrace him. However, instead the repeated shocks to his system forced the change and he became garou, ultimately killing his friend in the process.

A Passing Child of Gaia found him and brought him to the Children where upon his rite of passage he was renamed Thanatos Beathan which means literally "Life after Death." He learned quickly and though he voiced strong opinions against the way the tribes were governed as well preaching the need for unification with all supernaturals not just the garou, he rose through the ranks in just 5 short years. Unfortunately his outspoken opinions on making peace with the Kindred, Mages, Changlings and Fera did not go over well with many of the elders and he was slowly pushed to the fringes of the Children. Still, there were those which believed and understood his position, appointing him as Diplomat to the other supernaturals to try and make peace and unite them before the coming storm.

His current mission is as a diplomatic link between the Kindred clans of New Orleans and the Children.
