Stanley is a skinny little bald kid, dressed in dirty rags and covered in filth. His eyes are a dark brown, and the whites are a light gray. Where he is clean enough for it to be seen, his skin is ashen and pasty. If you were to walk upon this kid sleeping, you'd swear he was dead. * * * * * Skills and Abilities: * The virus expertly rejects foreign matter from his body - he is virtually immune to diseases and infections. * The virus also recovers exceptionally well from radiation damage and grants him minor regenerative abilities. * Living on the street, he's become pretty good at hiding from things that are larger than him (everything). * The virus has seriously warped many of his glands (sweat, saliva, etc.) destroying some functionality and replacing those mechanisms with its own twisted versions. The boy doesn't smell or taste like a human or - for that matter - an animal of any kind. Also, the coat of urban waste on him thoroughly masks his scent. Possibly emerging: * Infective capabilities * Virus Gifts/Supernatural Abilities Flaws: * He's pretty thoroughly nuts, as virally mutated brain-cells offer different functionality. * He lacks more than basic communication skills. * His metabolism requires large quantities of odd food stuffs. |

Background
At some time during or after the crisis a mysterious virus spread through certain communities, horribly decimating populations. It operated by infecting a body, and inserting a loop of DNA into every organic cell. This DNA marked the virus as the dominant genetic presence, dooming the carrier's biology to be rejected by its own immune system. Every cell in the person's body would commit apoptosis, causing this person to dissolve, cellularly.
Stanley was lucky, or unlucky enough to have been born to a woman who'd become pregnant by a man whose spermatozoa were already infected with the virus. Somehow the process of mitosis "convinced" the virus that the developing baby was part of its own biology. Stanley developed for nine months within his mothers womb - how she fared is not known.
