Background

His home as a child was in a monk temple. Orphaned as a baby, he grew up learning the ways of these monks instead. Lucius was trained from a young age in how to use a staff, and to channel his energy to create barriers. He was consistently told he was worthless, and rarely ventured far from home.

The end result was a cowardly staff wielder of great strength. His endurance in battle went unparalleled due to the harshness of his mentors. When he isn't afraid, he maintains a calm composure, and he can switch so quickly between those states that most would think there was something wrong with him, but he really just needs some reassurance from time to time.
