Background

Strom is a dwarf from the mountains, and a part of the Beard Clan. The Beards are most famous for their beards as they are usually the best looking among all of the dwarves. Strom trained at mining and fighting from an early age, however he also took to alcohol at an early age. After starting a few too many drunken fights and almost collapsed a mine shaft on his father he was asked to leave the clan.

Strom traveled for many years until he decided on his goal. If he was going to be a drunk, he might as well have some fun with it. He started to travel everywhere. Every town, village, hamlet, and city. He wanted to try all of the local brews. Traveling as a fighter for hire, he made his mark everywhere he went as the drunken berserker.

The Sigil
"The world is ancient, built upon and beneath the ruins of past empires, legends and artifacts living past them--as well as terrible menaces. Shrouded in a dark age between the collapse of the last great power and the rise of the next, it endures. Minor kingdoms prosper: baronies, holdings, city-states, but the power of kings goes only as far as their riders. Settlements are points of light in the widespread darkness, havens, islands of civilization in the wilderness that covers the world. Magic is everywhere--people believe in and accept the power that magic provides. However, true masters are rare. Many people have access to a little, and it helps those living within the cities to maintain their communities. Surrounding the world, Edion, is the ether or ethereal plane which divides it from the other planes and the great Astral Sea. So welcome. Why not weave a tale or two while you're here?"
