Physical:
S'lar really doesn't have much separating her appearance from that of other drow. Her hair is silver-white, like most of her kind, with just the slightest of waves towards the bottom of it. It reaches just above her waist, and if she hasn't pulled it up into a bun, as she is apt to do when she works, she lets it hang freely.

Her skin is just a tinge darker than most, almost pitch black, but the distinction has become less with her age, so that its barely noticeable. There's the odd scar or two, including one midback that looks as though someone or something attempted to run her through in years long past, though strangely there's no scar on the other side, indicating either a small weapon, or a failed try to stab her, literally, in the back.

The woman's eyes, too, are bright red, this at least undimmed by age. They show her cold cunning and calculative nature, in addition to a wellspring of bitterness that stems from loss.

S'lar's fashion sense seems to gravitate towards more tradition royal colors, black, reds, and violets. She seems, strangely, to avoid golds like the plague. One relic from her past which she keeps with her in case she should actually need to -gods forbid!- fight, is her cloak. Its seems to be impervious to nonphysical magic (fire, light, shadow), though it only protects what it can cover. If she can't pull in her foot fast enough in the wake of a fireball, she's going to lose it! Mostly though, she sports a surprisingly casual array of closely fitting shirts, in which she's not afraid to bare a little skin, and somewhat looser pants, usually tucked into a pair of boots that go up to her calf.

As far as height, she's pretty short for a drow female, standing somewhere around 5'4. And yes, this is a bit of a sore spot for her. I really wouldn't bring it up.
Additional Information On the surface, S'lar can appear rather genial. She's more or less always minding her manners, speaking softly, rarely actually having to use harsh words. She's a firm believer that people are more likely to do as you say if you treat them nicely than if you are constantly cruel to them. She'll also ardently protect her allies. If one of her contacts starts having trouble, usually the offending party turns up dead- or just doesn't turn up at all.

When push comes to shove, S'lar will call in "favors", fight as dirty as she needs to, and will remove those in her way without second thought.

Like most female drow, even if S'lar has been on the surface for a good, long while, she has a bit of a pride complex. She's prone to bossing people around, particularly if she senses they don't stick up for themselves. She also tends to underestimate mortal magic-casters, believing them far inferior to her own kind's sorcerors. However, she has a healthy respect for healers and warriors, realizing their strengths above drow
Quotes "So honestly, I'm glad you're suffering. You reap what you sow, high-elf. You sought to spread pain, death, and now look what's staring you in the face. I don't want you to 'feel better'. I want you to hurt, like you've hurt us." (S'lar, RotS, 6)

"Someone’s being cruel, that’s all. It’s just how the world works. You can’t keep thinking that every bad thing that happens to you is some form of punishment.” (S'lar, RotS 4)

Background

S'lar is incredibly old by any elf's standards. There's much speculation among those who know her as to how her almost impossible age is acheived, particularly considering that she looks like she's still in her prime. These rumors range from that she's not an elf at all, but a demon, to that she sold her soul to a certain spider-like goddess, and in return got immortality- as long as she did as was asked of her.

Other than that, what is known is that once she was a woman of great power, a Matron Mother, in fact. In the dim recesses of time, she was dethroned, and managed to escape her House's destruction.

After her narrow escape (she almost died, apparently,) S'lar settled down surprisingly well on the surface with her surviving son, and a particular love interest, who's name has been lost with the details of this story. She had children, and lived in seeming peace for a very, very long time.

However, it was her immortality that robbed her of a happy life. The price she paid for her everlasting life was a heavy one, that eventually forced her to leave her family. She vanished for years, and years, coming into contact with only her two sons out of all her family in only recent times. However, whatever caused her to recluse in the first place seems to have resurfaced.

She vanishes often, each time coming back more and more tired and irritable. Its only a matter of time before something snaps.

The website has fallen into disrepair and i have forgoten my account information to change it. so bear with me untill i iether make a new one or some such."
