Appearance/ Stats	Appearance: Barek is a wild looking individual, but many would consider him handsome. His body structure is relatively muscular and built. He stands at an average 5'8" and seems to add to his height since he always stands tall and straight, as if trying to prove himself. His skin is a very dark brown, almost black, color. In the dark he looks black as the shadows. His eyes are a surprising shade of turquoise, almost crystal in color. His hair is made of white-gray dreadlocks that range in length. Most of it is relatively short, just below his ears, though layered, while a few dreadlocks are either chest length or waist length. A few strange things about the drow are his tattered ears. The lobes look as though they have been ripped or chewed at. Also he has markings on his face that either could mean he's of high rank or low rank, though no one really knows, so they always stay away either way. The marks are almost like etchings into his skin, deeper than tattoos. On the inside of the etchings it looks like liquid crystal was poured inside and allowed to harden, the color matching his eyes. There are three thick lines around his eyes that come from the outer edge, the lowest one has two dots underneath. The other markings merge from his mouth and go down to his chin. He has more intricate markings on the left side of his body that are obviously there for some mysterious reason. They are light blue in color and seem to glow in the darkness. He also has plenty of scars, both fresh and ancient looking. Many of them are older and litter his body with faint ridges and indentations. Personality: Barek's personality can often rub people the wrong way. He is a very honest, blunt, straight-forward person. Not a single lie comes out of his mouth. There is no reason to lie, to him its better to tell the truth and hurt people than to lie and flatter them. Many people dislike him, hate him, or just don't know how to feel about him. Their indifference doesn't bother Barek, he doesn't care. In fact, he doesn't care about much of anything. He hardly ever takes sides on issues. No one ever sees him smile, frown, or even show the slightest bit of emotion. He sees emotions as a weakness. Due to his brutal past he's learned to conceal anything he feels, almost to the point that he doesn't know what he is even feeling. It's hard for him to decipher his emotions and often they all melt together to one analogous blob of uncertainty. The only people that have managed to break down his extremely thick barrier is Narya and his daughter Bellethiel. Jaska, his son, has managed to get somewhere close, but Barek still manages to maintain a steady mask around his son. He feels as if letting Jaska in that much will jeopardize what relationship the two have. He absolutely adores his daughter. There's something different between the two than any relationship he has with anyone else. Belle manages to always get him to smile and even laugh. He is extremely protective over her and does pretty much anything to make the little girl happy.

Additional Information	Barek's daemon is a nameless spotted owl. Of course it isn't truly nameless but no one has heard him utter a name to it, or really even converse with it. It merely sits in the background wherever he is and watches on with eerie large black eyes.
