Very few people beyond Virr's natural parents know exactly what the young man looks like. Day and night, he wears a skin-tight mask covering his face. The mask is actually a combination gas mask/oxygen recycler which uses alchemical disks to filter out toxins and release clean oxygen. His eyes are covered by tightly-strapped green witchglass goggles. Hands and skin are covered by a tightly fitting body suit of a spider silk derivative. Head, hair, ears and neck are covered by a light chain mesh and skullcap combination. Virr has modified a rare set of Laborian survival armor for his use, all chains and leather. The armor not only modifies his internal temperature in harsh climates, but has the added effect of turning him into a mottled black-grey smear of shadow. Everything the catalodan wears speaks of survival with no excess. The man's entire world is strapped to his hips, legs, and back. A shortened rapier of exquisite construction is strapped along his thigh, as well as the coils of a metal-studded whip. His main weapon is usually found at his back or in his hands. A spear of incredible manufactoring, lean and gleaming, is wickedly tipped at one end and counter-balanced at the other. |
