BackgroundA young elven prince born upon the second day of Birke, 1990 to Tri'Shena and Marcus Tamira, common tongue it would be February second 1990. The young prince's name was Xerxes Ariaos Tamira, the name given to him by his mother, and quoted from his mother was:
"My prince of high courage, borne for many a reason." -Tri'Shena Tamira
Xerxes, well the meaning of the name rather, means Monarch (Prince, not sure.) as Ariaos means lion, one of high courage. His mother and father believed that he was borne to be one of a kind, in which he lived to that.At his birth though, his father was away, which he regrets but Xerxes always kept a smile because his father was always around some how. He was a twin, a twin to Essence Solstice Tamira, a girl, though she looked just like Xerxes, sandy brown hair, green eyes and medium sized elf ears. Her name was given to her because she was an oracle of seasons and the essence of time. Though they were separated at birth.
Now, Xerxes grew up studying and training everyday since he was old enough to read, he wanted to be strong like his mother and father. He would always be caught behind his parent's thrones reading a book or under a tree outside the hold asleep with a book upon his chest, then he had his study were he would stay most of the time building weapons or coming up with new ideas. He would always be found there if no where else. Even sometimes caught sleeping there for a few days if he was working upon something big.
Xerxes at the age of 20 had fallen in love with a woman, his Aunt Treshina Tamira, and she fell in love with him. They grew upon one another, even sneaking off to his study to spend time together, until one day they came before his parents asking to be married. and was granted permission. Xerxes being happy at this point in life was also granted news that his parents were to renew their vows. Then sadness struck the Tamira family, Tri'Shena had asked to be killed for her family, for the sorrow that others were causing upon the family. Xerxes couldn't bring himself to o it. He went with his mother to the Le'Boursier Domain where she had asked Rhage to do such. Rhage did, but not without shedding a few tears, it was the first time he had ever seen a demon cry.
A few weeks later, His mother was resurrected by his father, and the family's peace was once restored. Now with his mother home, and his father happy, he hopes that tamira will live on in peace and harmony. In which, He had lead himself to move out into his Study having be happy with the family. Later on down the road, Xerxes had left Tre'Shina, falling for Elemmiire, the Duchess of Tamira. They had gone through the hand fastening, joined together for the seasons pass.
A year passed by, then Analise had run away in search of the Arik she had introduce to the Family so long ago. His mother was left a wreck in the throne room; This had drawn him to move back into the hold, leaving his study behind. For now, he resided within the Hold, Elemmiire at his side, and his mother in the comforts of knowing he was there. There are somedays that he tends to miss the twin he lost, His heavy still does not think she is gone, just lost to them.
Upon the last visit to the Hold, Xerxes had realized just how much he missed the Family; He sat in his empty room upon the bed with a sigh that Morning. With Analise kidnapped and Da out on his journeys, Ma was left with the company of few. This truly had sadden him. He slept within the uncovered bed, chilly though; Xer had gotten up in the middle of the night to light the small fireplace in the room. After which his walked to his window, staring at the path that lead to his Study. It was at this moment he decided he needed to be here, amongst family and his Wife.
In the early hours of the morning, Xerxes headed on to the stables where spare horses rested. He took a small brown mare, connecting her to a wagon that happened to be meant for one horse. He took the journey back to his study, where he began his transition of packing and loading the wagon's bed. With the afternoon sun over-head, Xerxes had taken a last look in the now empty building. He shrugged his shoulders, He needed to be with his family right now. Late afternoon, He began the walk back to the Hold. He hadn't realized just how much he had missed them.
He walked beside the mare, holding onto her reigns; His free hand was within his pocket. Breaking from the tree-line, From the dirt path, He brought the mare to stand close to the entrance of the hold; Patting her as if He were giving her praise. Slowly he began the process of moving things from the wagon to his room. He was making haste to place everything back into his room, he held no need to unpack anything yet. He just needed to get his things back up to his room.
Hours later, Xerxes had finished unloading the wagon to his room; He walked the mare back to the stables. He removed the hitches and reigns, putting the brown mare back into her stable. The wagon back to its prospective place. Slowly did he return to the Hold, where he'd feel at peace. He stopped by the old oak he used to read under, a smile forming from the memory of his youth. His favorite memory was of how his Mom would come cover him when he slumbered out here by this tree. He then took off back to the Hold.
Once within the hold, Xerxes had gone to his room; He felt the need to go start moving Elemmiire's things into the room with his. Hours passing as he did so, slowly moving her things to his room. After unpacking things and putting them to their posted sights. Once he was done with the room, he sighed. He was home at last; A single tear had draw a singular line down his cheeks, where were his siblings? Was Analise alright? He walked to the window, his eyes settling upon the old oak that he spent his youthful moments. The chatters of the bird dwelling had carried a song that dwell throughout the land.
