While growing up in an urban lifestyle, Dryn was constantly picked on by the other boys in town, as an orphan the other boys thought he was worthless.
Dryn made a friend in a local gang called “The Dancers” who told him if he joined the gang the other boys would not pick on him anymore.

In a test to prove his worth to the gang, Dryn had to venture into a old nearly forgotten cabin on the outskirts of the town limits. Inside Dryn was told there was a silver candlestick that he must retrieve if he is to join them.

Once inside the cabin Dryn found the candle stick on top of an old bookshelf, when he tried to reach for it he opened a secret passageway and fell head first down it hitting his head on the stone steps.

When he regained consciousness Dryn found himself in a small room devoid of anything but a small metal box. Curiosity crept over Dryn and he opened it to find a small book wrapped in black leather, opening the book strange words entered his mind and Dryn suddenly felt attacked. Like someone was choking him.

Thankfully to his strong will power, Dryn fought down the invading entity.

Through his past up to the present, Dryn still fights the entity in a subconscious battle for control of Dryns body.

Thankfully from his travels Dryn obtained the recipe to a potion that subdues the entity for a temporary time.
