Facial Features:

Confidant yet distant. Unless with friends he will only engage in conversation when necessary. When speaking to friends it is usually for a short time and quite detached. Despite this cold exterior those very close to him will know that deep beneath he conceals feelings like any other.

Abilities:

Physical:
- Molten Gauntlets: An ability passed on through his father. When he wishes them to Hyphastos' hands rapidly convert from his olive skin into a larger black molten ones. They become very resilient and his viens beneath this molten armour glow a deep orange lava hue.

Equipment:

Weapons:
- Aegean Savior: A long spear crafted in crete. One third of the weapon is the blade; a shiny, two-sided, stainless steel. The shaft is ringed by the smae steel. Despite its perfect balance it has no other known abilities.

- Xiphos Sword: Typical greek Infantry sword, that gets fatter towards the end, until it quicky narrows at the tip.

- Kopis Sword: (A long version of the sword) A forward curving blade, simple steel, effective killer.
Additional Information (Hyphastos is the unknown, unnamed son of Ares, the Greek God of war. The events that he influenced changed the world and as a result his name and what he achieved was stricken from most records. Only a few records survived to tell the tale.)

Companions:

- Nycena (Female)- Aged 19. Beautiful, Charismatic and Intelligent. She is Hyphastos's voice when he doesn't speak. Usually she wears a light (and usually quite revealing) tunic or short dress. She owns a typical greek infantry sword, bow and spear. Athenian, olive-skinned, meditteranian. What she lacks in brute strength she makes up for it in rapid speed and outrageous flexibility and agility.

- Achaikos (Male)- Aged 23. A protective and truthful ally willing to jump in the way of any foe in order to protect his friends. A strong believer in Hyphastos and the hope of his name being added alongside his closest friends. Most used weapons, short spear, short sword and large shield. A Corinthian with meditteranian hue to his pigment.
Quotes 'Mental strength surpases physical strength as physical strength is subject to the laws that guide us.'

Background

Location born: Athens

Hyphastos was the offspring of the powerful god Ares and a young and beautiful maiden to a powerful queen. After several years of the relationship Zeus demanded an end to the affair, worrying about Ares' attachment not only to the maiden but to humanity and the events it was subject to. Too late was the command as he had been formed said attatchment long ago. Although he agreed to return to Mount Olympia on a more permenant basis he concealed his new son and left the boy with his mother.

When Ares left he decided to leave several powerful weapons for the use of his child. He commanded several worshippers to teach his son the manners of combat and warfare. Before Hyphastos was even born he advised his mistress, Hyphastos' mother, and several others who he wished to be involved in his son's life, to encourage him to do the will of the gods. Ares left him possibly the most important item; a letter sealed in fire and magic.

At the age of eleven Hyphastos bested his greatest combat instructor almost killing him. He was given no more instruction and many believed that that moment was the moment in which Hyphastos proved his heritage. After that moment his instructors told him who his father was and presented him with the powerful, divine weapons his father had left for him. Weapons that required both hands to lift by grown, muscular men was handeled with ease by the young demi-god. At this point Hyphastos was handed the letter. One other person had tried to access the letter's contents and had suffered a firey painful death. Everybody held their breath as he took hold of the letter. The seal crumbled off in ash and smoke as Hyphastos' fingertips connected with the envelope and people released their trapped breath with an exasperated sigh.
