An average fellow with sun-darkened features. The Forester has dark brown eyes and lack, longish unkept hair. He stands just below five foot, ten inches tall with a lean, sturdy build. He is graced with attractive, angular features and a good-natured demeanor, readily making friends wherever he goes. He dresses in dark shades of brown and green, fitting for the dark alleys of the city or the murky depths of the Wyld areas. Studded leather armor is cinched tight to his frame, half-hidden by a suprisingly exquisite cloak of mottled grey. A hooked long dagger can be seen riding the hip opposite to a bejewelled shortsword of unusual construction. A long yewwood bow rides one shoulder, obviously his main weapon of choice. Though at home in the cities, it is obvious that the man is not of them... Easily told by his appearance and his odor. A spotted Lynx of mottled grey and gold follows his every step, glittering cat-eyes watching that which the Forester does not. On his left shoulder rides a costal falcon of magnificent splendor. And, high above. the sharp eyes of a black hawk watches them all.

Background

Born the son of two druids, nature was in his blood. He was raised in the Wylds, a savage treed area that borders the main city to the west. Clifton grew up wild, learning the arts his mother and father had taken to heart... And learned them well. When death finally took them, Brisk decided to try his fortunes within the city proper. Natural talent and well-honed skills quickly earned him a small reputation within certain quadrents of the city.

His legal occupation is that of 'Pest Control.' Clifton even manages to make a sparse, but comfortable living at it. His real occupation is far more interesting... And illegal. Like most of the cities denziens, he has taken to supplimenting his income. Again, his natural talents came in handy. He was a natural spy; the animals we live with, even in the city, see more than any man could hope to. And his civilian occupation also came in handy for supplimenting Brisk's income... Sometimes, even humans were viewed as pests.

The Forester makes his residence within a huge cistern, abandoned and forgotten to time. It lies within the Quarentine zone itself, a forbidden and secluded portion of the city which is rumored to be plagued by ravaging disease. The taint has never seemed to bother Clifton however, and he finds the abundance of rats and insects throughout the area to be rather good company.. Atleast compared to the people he's used to dealing with.

the cliffside tavern AKA 'Woulfe's Den Tavern and Inn'
"Swim, Fly, or Run! by Tobias Woulfe posted 19 September 2006 @ 21:25 The Cliffside Tavern, once a place of gathering to many, and home to perhaps more. This great place stood as an Icon to RP in Ayenee, until the great cataclysm that destroyed the paths of that world. A great many who worked there and frequented there were lost in the upheaval. For over a year, the Tavern has been trying to survive here, its staff watching the empty rooms and hoping for the vibrant patrons which once graced its tables. It has survived, despite odds against it. The feelings that created it pushing it forwards. It is not just created by the Owner, the Keepers, it is created and maintained by all who come there, it always has been. This is a call to all, Newcomers, returners and those who never left - The Cliffside still stands, as it always shall, come to the forums or come to the chat and let its doors swing wide with the ever entering shadows. If none are around to open the tavern, open the room yourselves and enjoy the RP! ~Well said Tobias, Thank you. Just a foot note, The Cliffside Tavern was thought, seen as a run down building at the top of a set of cliffs the summer of 1997. Ten years its been around. Thats a long time for any gaming realm. Thanks all who made it possible. Sirene/Aliesh"
