Black upon black chitin dully glints in the soft vacumn of space, muted and nearly inperceivable against the starred backdrop. Qalios is large for one of his gender; inching to the majestic length of forty-five feet. Wicked, needle-pointed legs jut from the sides of his sleek, rounded form, legs marked with slight whorled engravings etched directly onto the carapace. Glittering, multi-faceted eyes watch the quiet drifs of hydrogen gas that is now his only company. | |

Background
Qaliosondinauppatam. Thinker. Diplomat. Hero. But that was before his pride. Qalios was born, raised, and trained to be a Liason, one of the few of his kind that could communicate with their only allies. He walked among those strange beings, learning and observing. Carrying out the orders of his queen without question. His mind brought new trade to the collective. His actions brought glory to the Race.
But Qalios saw more than he should of. He saw he other race, how they functioned, how they lived. He desired more than to be a mere puppet, enslaved under the adamant authority of gender rule. He brought back his learnings, converted them into teachings.
Into a revolution.
Failure came in the form of exile. His life; shattered. His mate, treasured beyond belief; slaughtered. He alone survived the wrath of rulership, brought on by the heretical beliefs Qalios had given life. Forced out of the Mind, forced out of his home, he now wandered in disgrace. System to system, world to world. Searching for something that cannot be found...
Peace.
