Ti glanced at Ritzen. "A drow?"

Luc tilted his head. "A drow?" He seemed to study Ritzen, which was odd given that he was wearing a blindfold. "I thought I'd heard mention of it. I don't see anything wrong with it. If no one said anything, it's not like I'd have ever known."

Ritzen bowed slightly to Luc and Ti, “I hope our adventure together will be fruitful, may Eilistraee and Ioun watch over us.”

"Or may they at least pretend to," Paelias joked, earning himself a frown from Iya. "Oh, come on!"

"And this is why you never managed to get far in religious instruction," she said, softening the sting of the expression with gentle tones. "Come on. We use up precious daylight. Ritzen, will your eyes be alright? I know that drow are accustomed to the depths."

A few minutes later Thyrion was back in his room with a sense of hope lingering in his soul, one he believes to be a decript, dark void. He had packed every possession he still carried with him; clothes, an amulet, his small collection of tomes and research notes. Thyrion pulled out the amulet, a gift given to him by a woman he valued exponentially. If he could control the corrupting darkness within him, he would return to her, hopefully she would wait.

Sighing he stood up, his sword was in its sheath, standing ready by the door, as was his shield, glimmering in the sunlight. Thyrion walked, slowly, sombrely over to it before running his fingers along the jagged circumference, reminising about his adventures and close-calls.

He exhaled and grabbed everything he owned, packed within a single backpack and a satchel. Strapping the sheath around his chest so his sword was at his back and heaving his shield onto his back, via a thick leather strap he contemplated on how much his life had changed, he missed the careless nights and joyous days. But at least now he had hope, an estatic senstaion he had not felt for more than a decade.

Ritzen nodded, “I should be alright for now, I left my cloak in one of the caravans I was guarding I found that if I have some shade I can see better than being in direct sunlight.”

Luc nodded. "Well then, let's get going. I have an entire collection of stories of me accidentally burning things down and getting kicked out of places. I'm sure I can tell another one, unless you all have some good stories for the road."

Ritzen slowly shook his head, "Sorry, but i don't remember much from the time before i came to be on the surface. And until last night i didn't have any stories to tell."

Ritzen glanced at the open sky. "At least we don't have to worry about it raining."

Sitting on a stool at the bar Thyrion ordered ale after ale, waiting for the arrival of those that would finally lead him to the truth about what he was. His backpack lay on the floor with his golden shield lying over it, protecting it from the world.

Suspicious and cautious eyes followed his every movement, he could feel their gaze on his back. Thyrion couldn't wait to leave this place but he would wait as long as he needed to.
