Jamie laughed a little, shaking her head. "Dork," she murmured. She took another bite of her pasta and nodded a bit. "This is really good. Wanna try?"

Lars grinned. He was already enjoying his food. "Mm. Well this is like, the best thing I've ever had." He reached over with his fork and poked at her noddles, stealing some.

Jamie smiled and nodded. "Told ya," she said softly. She picked up an oversized shrimp and ate it slowly.

"Screw my diet." Lars said. "I'm coming here everyday or the rest of my life." He grinned.

Jamie laughed softly and went back to her pasta. "Greg is an awesome chef," she agreed, nodding.

Lars grinned and dug into his chicken, and had some shrimp. He shook his head and drank his water. "This is better then that three hundred dollar meal the other day." he said easily. "Wish there was some wine with it though."

Jamie smirked a bit. "Sorry," she said, although it was teasingly. "No alcohol here."

"What? Really? Why?" Lars asked with a frown. He didn't like that this place was dry though...

Jamie laughed a little, but before she could answer a handsome young man about the same age as her walked out in a pristine chef's coat. He wiped his hands on a rag as he walked over. "Because food should stand on its own," he answered calmly. "The wrongly chosen wine could ruin a dish. So we just took that problem away."
Jamie smiled and got up, giving him a hug, then stepped back. "Greg, this is my boss, Lars Reed. Mr Reed, this is the chef, Greg."

"Hello Greg." he said, standing and taking the man's hand. 'I was just telling Jamie here that I'll forgo any diet and come here everyday. Really, the food here is beyond perfect." He smiled.
If anything, Lars was good with people
Actually great with people.

Greg smiled and calmly shook the man's hand. "So you're the one, eh?" he asked calmly. "Stole my Jamie away?"
Jamie smirked and rolled her eyes, grabbing the last shrimp on their table and eating it without a word.

"Well I'm certainly trying to." He laughed and slapped the man's arm lightly, letting go. "She's a tough catch."

Greg smirked a bit and looked over at her. "Yeah she is," he murmured. "Well I've gotta get back to work, got a class back there." He chuckled a little and pointed at Jamie. "Say goodbye before you leave."
Jamie smiled at him and nodded. "I will. Thanks again, Greg."
The man nodded and smiled at Lars. "Nice to meet you, Lars." Then he waved a tiny bit and turned back to the kitchen.

Lars sat back down and adjusted himself again. "Well he was nice." He said easily. "I stole you...huh?"

Jamie smiled a little and nodded, sipping her water. "Yeah," she said quietly. "He wanted me to start this place with him." She shrugged a little. "We used to work a catering company together."
