"But you chose me...because?" Lars grinned, shamelessly fishing for a compliment.

Jamie smirked a bit. "Because I like sleeping," she said teasingly.

Lars laughed. "Do you really?" He asked with grin. "I mean I know I need a lot of babysitting."

Jamie smirked a little. "Just the hours are better," she clarified. "That's all. I can't manage a job where you're in at five am and not out til midnight, or later."

Lars winced. "Ouch." he said slowly. "Now I feel bad for making you go overtime." He whispered.

Jamie frowned a little at him. "Yeah?" she asked quietly.

"Well yeah I mean, you took the job so you could have more time and I tend to...suck it from you." He sighed. "Promise. I won't go home when you're still at the office."

Jamie laughed a little and shook her head. "It's fine," she said. "It's whatever. Never stay that late."

Lars smirked. "I'm a workaholic, I know." He admitted with a shrug. "But hey, not much to come home to except a bottle of wine and some Chopin." He smiled.

Jamie smiled a little. "You listen to Chopin?" she asked quietly.

Lars grinned. "See I can be classy." he said easily. "Yeah, I like Chopin. He's my best friend. Got me through collage."

Jamie smirked a bit at that. "How so?" she asked quietly.

"Well, every time I had a bad night or something like. Got dumped, or, bad class, or. Got stonewalled at a bar or some shit. You know just had a bad day, I would turn on his Prelude 28 in E minor and just veg." He smiled a little. "And a lot of his music helped me study for finals and tests or whatever too."

Jamie smiled at him and nodded a bit. "Well that... that's awesome," she said quietly.

Lars smiled. "Why you like him?" he asked easily, leaning forward. "Maybe you could come over, cook for me, I open some wine. We could listen to his music."
