Strider chuckled a bit and offered his hand to the horse so it could sniff him before petting his nose. "I won't steal you."

Ataline smiled a little, standing back and sipping her coffee.
Geoffrey easily stuck his head out of the stall and let Strider pet him for a moment, before stepping closer to the gate and sniffing over his torso, looking for pockets, and treats.

Strider laughed a little. He pulled out a small sugar cube and handed it over. "These were for Tug." He said softly. "But okay. I'll give you one too."

Geoff easily took it, but snorted and quickly went back to searching for me.
"Hey old man," Ataline said softly, stepping closer. "Cut it out."
The horse shifted his attention over to her, nuzzling into her.

Strider laughed a little. "He sure likes his treats." He said lightly. "Tug mostly bugs me for pets."

Ataline smiled a little and shrugged. "I guess I might spoil him a little," she said softly, rubbing Geoff's ears. "But he deserves it anyways."

"Oh I'm sure." He chuckled.
Tug whined horribly again and shifted her weight. She seemed rather uncomfortable and she paced faster in her stall.

Ataline glanced over and Geoff snorted. She pet his ears one last time before going over to see if they couldn't calm the mare down.

"This is her first I think." He said. "She's got to be in pain and...unsure." He sighed a bit. "Is this normal?"

Ataline slowly nodded. "I think," she said quietly. She shrugged a bit. "Hopefully she'll just lay down here soon... it'll be easier on her."

Strider moved into the stall with her and coaxed her to lay down. She pressed her head into his chest. "I know girly I know." He whispered. "You gotta stop going off and getting pregnant after this okay?"

Ataline slipped in with them and gently ran her hands down the horse's stomach. Then she moved down and checked how far along she was. She sighed a little, shaking her head. "It's still gonna be awhile."

Strider sighed a bit and nodded. "This is the longest day of my life." he whispered.

Ataline smiled a little and moved back over to her coffee. "Just keep her calm, alright?" she said softly. "That's the best help you can give her right now."

"Oaky..." Strider said, giving her comfortable and trying to make her relax. By later that night though, after dinner, she started to show signs of discomfort again.
