The Awakening by Kuras Krowe on Wed, 2 May 2012 10:36The crowd was loudly screaming, the area stank of many different things and stenches of the sewers. Upon the wooden pike in the center of the town lay a woman tied and bound for her crimes against the king. Yet her eyes fell upon a hooded figure with an obscure grin. Time had seemed to slow down, the woman kept her eye upon the obscured grin beneath that hooded figure. Each second that passed, the hooded figure came closer to the woman upon the pike. The woman screamed for someone to help her, fear had rode upon her face in the form of sweat. The obscured hooded figure had come to stand level with the woman, and whispering took place. "The prophecy is coming to life, in your womb you hold the key to everything... the abomination that will grow to hate and consume...you hold the disgrace of Lucifer in you... His dirty little secret." Kuras Krowe awoke from her dream, a sleep that had had taken over her since the day her Mother had brought her back from death. That dream tormented her her dreams, her sleep. Then there was the gut wrenching pain again. She needed to eat, and do so soon. She was the fallen child rose from the Blood of the Father and Mother. An abomination of many races created into one single being. A husk of fighting bloodlines deep within her. She lived amongst the bordering lands of Sanguine and Le'Boursier's homes. She wanted to stay close to both places. She moved to peer beneath her bed, something she always did back home in Le'Boursier. No, Ge'China was not there this time. How long had it been since she had seen any of her family aside from her Mother, the Deviant One? She took a breathe, and released a sigh. Kuras needed to get out of bed, and stop hiding who she truly was. She had to go eat...feast... or find her family... Bare soles placed themselves upon the floor, bodice did erect to a stand. Kuras walked towards the door of the small cabin...if that's what you want to call the small building with one room and a broken down bed. She simply grabbed the old preacher's coat, and threw it on. Exiting the building, Kuras had taken her time to bask in the moonlight, to soak in it's gleams of light. Irises danced with the hues of crimson, hunter green, and lemon yellow; the proof was there. She was not any one certain breed or race. A low bellowing hiss had fell from such a creature, scents from miles away teased the inner sense of smell. Oh, how she longed to feast, but could never bring herself to do it. Had she grown soft? No. She was much most when not sated with a full stomach... if her stomach could ever fill. Her hunger was constant. She headed out into the bordering lands of home and birthplace. She was going to find someone...or something. She could only chuckle, for many a thought was forming within her wicked little head. |

RE: The Awakening by Ge'ch on Wed, 2 May 2012 17:45She missed her Mother greatly, the heart that never bothered to beat ached viciously to be in the cold embrace of her Kin. She had gotten lost somewhere between the lands, curling herself amidst bone and filth of creatures passed..the bordering lands of Le' Boursier and Sanguine keeping her in shadows. Softened sigh escaped, raspy exhale forced through lungs useless by punctures of countless broken ribs. She thought of the years spent along the lands, years spent in slumber beneath the bed of her Mother...filthy frame contorted further by the memory of confined and bloodied nights. She despised the open spaces. Disgusting free air wore on her nerves till she shook in despair and hunger. Crossing arms 'round herself, tangled length of matted tress' fell to veil sickly form, cracked lips parted in slow width. She snarled, the sound escaping in a rattling shattering of breath..vocals beaten by a deeper, darker release following. Unnatural melody rose to coat the stilled air, a howl reminiscent of her youth. |

RE: The Awakening by Kuras Krowe on Fri, 4 May 2012 15:42The fragile scents of the local animals, and creatures that lurked upon the lands faltering upon the brink of placid living. She walked along, the crunch of leaves and twigs echo'd under the feet that carried her along. Kuras was just an abomination, another creature that would soon settle upon the feet of hell. Oh, how she wished her mother would show, or her daughter. She simply wanted the comfort of someone of her bloodline. And this brought her to a halt. Long drawn in breathe of air within the nostrils had carried the scent of dead, decaying things. Oh, how she remembered that scent, the faint memory of Ge'china lurked upon her mind; was this just a trick upon her mind? She shook her head, this was nothing but a memory coming back to her. Kuras moved forward, never halting in her step; she had to roam about this woods, find something to sate her hunger the gurgled deep within her. |

RE: The Awakening by Ge'ch on Fri, 4 May 2012 15:59The sound faded to a pitiful whimper as quick as it had formed in her throat; she was angry and starved, lonely and coiled to strike in her aggitation yet she heard no replies but other animals perhaps more piteous than herself. It sent flesh to tear in dried detachment, lips curving in vicious display at the thought of perhaps bringing something to the feet of her Mother.. She pulled free of the filth and grime she had rested within, nails clawing at bones and roots long lacking any life; ashen tresses clung to her sickeningly slender frame, limbs contorted to a crouch oddly resembling something between the words of wolves and man..she licked the air, tilted her head, her Mothers memory so fresh she swore she could smell the scent of her flesh.. Shaking free the thought drove her to move, shadows clinging as she took to the Lands in search of the creature she'd heard; she meant to hunt for the first time in her existence.. |

RE: The Awakening by Kuras Krowe on Sun, 20 May 2012 14:12The bird's chirping were such an annoyance to her, they went off like high pitched whistles. This had drove Kuras to taken a deep breath while she writhed in irritation. Sh screech rather high, the VorGar had taken it's toll upon the innocent birds that lived in the woods. How close were any animals? Were there people out there too? Kuras had dropped to her knees, her head was spinning and the echoing halt of her voice had reached mountains afar. All she could do was pray that she find some sort of meal, something she could eat and be satisfied upon. Kuras had changed, there was so much a'new about her. She were an abomination created for perfection by her Mother, Deviuan. Oh, her mother...and the Father. She placed her hands upon her knees, rising to stand before all life in the wooded area. She cracked her neck, and the pop echo'd lightly. Kuras was a changed creation. She were no longer the sweet and innocent Kuras that the towns people had grown to like. She no longer protected them, but instead hunted them like they were dogs. She turned upon boot heel, something caught her senses, something familiar. It pinged in her head, it drove her to head off towards it. Towards the scent of Ge'China. Oh, how she loved her daughter. Her little finger biter, that small innocent child. The one she would kill anybody to protect. |
