Augustus nodded slowly and looked down. "He is annoying....but..." He glanced to Taryn. "I suppose...he is tolerable."

Sabastian pulled back, getting the hint. He sighed. "Thanks." He said as he lay back down.

Taryn shrugged. "If you say so," she said quietly. "Alright, sit. One braid? Two?"

Cami nodded and did the same, laying back down. "You know..." She started. "You're a really nice guy. I mean... you're crude and you talk too much and you certainly have a filthy mind, but... I like that and you're cute." She smiled, not looking at him and instead at the sky.

Augustus glanced over. "Perhaps two." He said softly. "That would be helpful."

Sabastian glanced over and smiled, blushing. 'Yeah uh...thanks." He whispered. 'You're really nice too you know? Like...really pretty."

Taryn nodded and had him sit down. She stood behind him and ran her fingers through his damp hair, untangling it before starting the braids.

"So... I'm nice or I'm pretty? OR am I nice because I'm pretty? Or... am I pretty because I'm nice?" Cami smiled over at him, teasing, but being playful at the same time.

"Our peoples all have long hair." he began softly. "The longer it is, the older you are. We are not allowed to cut it, but our hair grows slow."

Sabastian grinned. "All of the above?" he asked resting back studying her with the one eye functioning.

Taryn nodded slowly as she braided it. "Tell me if I pull too hard," she murmured, tying off the first and starting on the second.

Cami shook her head and laughed. "That's the easy way out of things." She teased him as she looked back up at the sky.

Augustus nodded and leaned back a little. "You are doing fine." He commented, holding still. He was studying his hands for a bit. "How much further till we reach your home?"

Sabastian grinned at her. "Why should anything have to be harder? If it would prove more to you if I had gone into extreme detail, would it have mattered? You still wouldn't kiss me."

"Two days," Taryn said quietly. "So... we'll probably see the smoke by tomorrow."

"Who said that?" Cami asked him with an amused smile. "I didn't say I wouldn't, but I didn't say that I would either, but I just wanted to know... just curiosity." She shruged

Augustus frowned. "You seem so sure of this." He whispered. "Do you not have faith that your people won?"

Sabastian glanced over. "You could say all those things, but I'm an hard evidence man. I need proof."

"You do not know what they were fighting," Taryn said quietly. "And even if they still live, there will be smoke."

Cami shook her head. "Well... I like goin on the word of others." She smiled at him and turned onto her side. "So you'll just have to take my word for it." She shrugged and grinned.
