Corvinus nodded slowly and tiptoed through to the space and standing firmly in it. "Wow, this is rather intricate work." He said, impressed.

Cait smirked a little to herself. "Thanks," she said softly. She gently motioned for him to be quiet, and bent her head, slowly starting the complicated spell for the teleportation.

Corvinus did so, not wanting to mess anything up.He watched her delecately cast her magic, and he closed his eyes, almost afraid of the effects of teleportation. He ad heard stories. Good and bad.

Cait slowly moved her hands through the incantation. The trees around them began to shimmer and then fade as the circle lit up, carrying them away from the lightly forested road.
After a moment, everything went white, and then as the light started to fade, they appeared in a clearing surrounded by rocks. It was a good deal colder there, frost on the ground even in the afternoon.

Corvinus shivered and his eyes went wide. "Oh gods...." He managed. He felt sick to his stomach, but over all. "Smooth ride."

Cait smiled a bit, running a hand through her hair. "You alright?" she asked softly.

Corvinus smiled and nodded. "That was interesting. I had heard stories of being torn appart by the transportation."

Cait nodded. "When people don't know what they're doing," she said. "Or where they're going. You have to know the place, or else it's stupid to do it. You could end up in the middle of a rock or a building..."

Corvinus frowned and shook his head. "Fools for even trying. Good thing you knew where this place was." He conceded.

Cait nodded slowly, looking around. "There's a town just down the hill, if you're interested," she murmured quietly.

Corvinus grinned. "Yes please." He said lightly. "Looking forward to a drink and some babes." He confessed sheepishly. "Call it an addiction, I don't care."

Cait smiled a bit and waved down the hill. "Feel free," she said quietly. "I'm not really... in the mood." She reached into her belt pouch, feeling around for her tent.

Corvinus shrugged and slipped down the hill quickly to the bar. He ordered some ale and promptly started scanning. A few sevens. Not bad. But he felt odd doing this. He didn't understand why.
