Lyra smiled a bit. "Morning," she whispered, when that kiss broke. Now this... was a great way to wake up.

That had been the best way Nickoladze had ever woken up. It was slow and gentle and...wonderful...
He sat up a little. "Do you want breakfast?"

Lyra shook her head and slipped her hand up to his other arm, pulling on him to lay back down. She didn't want him to leave. "Not yet," she said quietly. "Please?" Don't go back to working...

Nickoladze smiled and nodded, laying back down easily. "We have to start out day sometime." He whispered teasingly. "But okay."

"Says who?" Lyra whispered, teasing him back. She smiled a bit, running her hand down his arm and into his hand.

"Says my eleven year old who will be running around with poor Lain chasing him if we don't intercept soon." He laughed a little. 'But we have another hour or so."

Lyra smiled a bit. "Oh alright," she whispered. "Lain came in... by the way. She usually wakes me up..."

Nickoladze frowned. "Well...we didn't do anything. She has to know we didn't do anything right?" He asked softly.

Lyra shrugged a bit. "I'm sure she'll talk to me about it," she said quietly. "Or rather. Lecture me. She kind of... took over as my mom."

Nickoladze smiled a little and nodded. "Well we're both adults..." He murmured. "Responsible adults."

Lyra nodded a bit. "But... you know what you're doing," she whispered. "I... don't."

Nickoladze smiled. "I will...make sure you're as knowledgeable and comfortable as possible." He whispered softly. "If you ever want to."

Lyra nodded a bit, looking down. She had the brief image of her father rising from the grave and strangling her if she did anything before she got married. Even this was probably a bit over the line for him to approve of.
"Thank you," she whispered. She leaned in and kissed him gently. "Can we... do this again tonight?"

"Every night." Nickoladze said. "Just this." He promised. "Unless you don't want me around." He chuckled.

Lyra smiled a bit and moved against him, hugging him tightly. "I don't think that's going to happen," she whispered.
