Nickoladze laughed. "Oh there will be nights I'm sure where I'm exiled to the couch." He whispered. "But lets keep that at a minimum."

Lyra nodded. "Agreed," she whispered. She lay there against him for a moment before slowly sitting up. "I suppose we should get up..."

"hungry." Nickoladze said, agreeing. "Let's see if the twerp is raising hell or not." He sat up a little.

Lyra hit his leg teasingly. "He's not a twerp," she said quietly. "Don't call him that." She slowly sat up fully and put her legs over the edge of the bed.

Nickoladze laughed a little. "I'm teasing. I'm actually blessed to have such a well bahaved boy. I hope it stays that way."

Lyra smiled and nodded. "I think he will," she said quietly. "He drew with me yesterday." She slowly pulled her hair over her shoulder and ran her fingers through it.

"He did? I didn't know he was interested." Nickoladze said softly. "Was it good?"

Lyra glanced back at him and smiled. "Not bad," she said. "He needs practice but. He was pretty good for a first timer. I gave him some pages to practice with."

Nickoladze smiled and nodded. "It's odd. He's never shown any interest in what he wants to grow up to be. Ever so...this is huge."

Lyra smiled a bit. "He's only eleven," she said quietly. "I think he has plenty of time to figure it out."

"I know. But don't children usually start off wanting to be knights or...what their father was? At all?" He asked softly. "He was never that kind of boy."

"Maybe because his father's job is boring," Lyra teased. She leaned back and kissed him softly though, smiling at him afterwards.

"My job is not boring!" Nickoladze protested. But he laughed. "I can...do...exciting things. Its very rewarding."

Lyra laughed and shook her head. She kissed him once more before getting up and going to her changing screen. She pulled on the dress he'd made for her again.

Nickoladze pulled on his tunic. He'd get changed into different clothes later...
