The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko roamed the mortal forests boarding Greece as his graceful form--the white stag. He was a quiet god. A lonely god. He was the god of conquest and of his animal form. The road of conquest, he walked alone, and he had no home to call his own. He had no wife to care for, or children to sire. He had no admirers or temple of worship. The god of conquest defeated all--blessed the sides of the war that deserved. Destroyed the enemies of the mortal kingdoms. He was not of blood lust, but of victory. No matter what it took. He was known by some, and feared. Addressing him would turn his attention to whatever trouble you faced. Arseniko would choose, and not always the side of the one who prayed. He wandered the woods, peaceful and prideful. Marking the lands his own. The vision of the white stag was a sign to keep away. But who knew what Arseniko would seek to conquer next. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi finally escaped her father's guests and the servants, and slipped outside. Normally, the summer estate outside the city was a pleasant vacation, but filled with her father's obnoxious, pretentious guests, it felt much, much smaller. She slipped out of the grounds, dressed in a nice, expensive dress made of red silks. She wore gold jewelry studded with rubies, and her pretty hair matched the color of the trinkets as it blew in the soft breeze and shone in the sun. She walked along a path towards the woods beyond the estate, lost in thought. Soon enough, she was among the trees, enjoying the occasional shade and the smell of the world around her. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko flicked his ears and snorted. Someone was visiting his forest. He reared up and turned around, curious to see who it was. He was surprised to see a woman walking among the trees, dressed in red. He was apprehensive, afraid this was some sort of trick one of the goddesses up above might be playing on him. This mortal woman was far to beautiful to be born here. He watched her, his great stag form stiffening, concealed mostly by the brush and the trees. He wondered what she was doing here. Alone? He didn't recognize this as anything a mortal woman would do. He was apprehensive, but then again, he was all about the conquest. Even if of fear. He took a small step toward her. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi walked along calmly through the woods. She had been there before, although it had been quite awhile, since her childhood. She still remembered the pathways. She brushed her hair back from her face after a moment, and then moved off the path, towards a large tree near the stream. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko had a feeling of where she was going, and he took off, his hooves barely making a sound as he clapped nimbly along the brush and to the other side of the stream. He watched her move toward the large tree, and he slowly took his steps into the open before kneeling and taking a sip from the stream. The white stags antlers were magnificent, and he wore a think rope with a fig pendant around his strong neck. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi had been about to sit down at the base of the tree, but she froze, seeing the stag. She stood still, watching it carefully. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko slowly lifted his head and stared at her, his tail flicking slightly. He released a soft snort and froze. He flexed the muscles in his legs and back, showing clearly that he was a very strong creature. But the soft gentle flick of his ears suggested curiosity. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi smiled a bit. She stood still, taking in everything about the creature. She couldn't really believe what she was seeing. She partially wondered if she hadn't fallen asleep at the estate and was dreaming this. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko snorted a little and slowly trotted across the stream and only a few feet away from her. He adjusted himself and reared his head before shaking it, showing off his antlers. He took a few more steps closer. Arseniko could not believe she was so steadfast. He was feeling like this was a conquest of itself. He rarely mingled with the mortals like his brethern did. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi jumped a bit that it came so close, and took several steps back. She fell back into the tree trunk, one hand over her heart, surprised and a bit scared of the great creature. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko froze in place again before studying her. He felt her fear, and hoped she would over come it. He wasn't about to harm her. He slowly bowed his head and his front legs before laying down and resting, looking out over the stream. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi stayed were she was, confused by the creature. But she watched it, unmoving, for a long while. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko looked to her and snorted, wondering if she had just frozen in forever fear, or if she was just too timid to move closer. He nibbled on some grass and closed his eyes a little, trying to come off as none threatening. |

RE: The Stag by Demi Palas Demi swallowed a bit, finally straightening from where she'd been leaning on the tree. She licked her lips, glancing around before looking back to the animal. She was a little confused by its presence, but eventually, she sat down against the tree. She picked a strand of grass and turned it between her fingers. |

RE: The Stag by Arseniko Elafi Arseniko scooted a bit closer, sniffing at the grass she hand in her hand. He wanted to eat it, if she'd let him. |
