"Alright, I'll make sure to get my coffee in." He laughed. "You have a curfew this time miss Kara?"

Kara laughed a little. "On a Friday?" she asked teasingly. "Um maybe. I guess I'll have to see when Friday rolls around."

"Alright then." Mark smiled. "Well, break is over." He told her. "I'll hear from you tomorrow." He said easily. "Friday seemed so far away." He laughed. "Tomorrow night. Can't wait."

Kara laughed softly and nodded a bit. "Yeah," she said quietly. "Well I'll talk to you tomorrow. Have a good rest of your day."

"You too." Mark said easily.

Mark rested on the couch with pumpkin, trying to look for something to watch on TV to kill the time.

Around nine thirty, Kara called Mark. She sat in her car, drumming her fingers on the steering wheel a little.

Mark answered the phone. "Hello?" He asked, getting up. He was wearing some casual pants and a tshirt with an interesting pattern on it. Nothing too fancy. He brushed the cat hair off of him though.

"Hey Mark," Kara said, holding back a sigh. "It's Kara. Sorry I'm late calling... My mother pulled one of her many..." She took a breath. "Anyways. Did you still want to go to a bar?"

"Oh yeah. Definitely. Are you alright?" He asked softly. "I'll be right down, we can talk then?"

Kara laughed a little and nodded. "Yeah sure," she said. "I'll be over in like... ten."

"Oh great. Yeah. and then you can lay it all on me. I have two ears." He said easily. "Can't wait to see you."

Kara laughed a bit and nodded. "Yeah," she said quietly. "See you soon." She hung up the phone and drove to his place, parking just out front. She was dressed up very nicely, in a cream/off-white-ish colored dress with a red leaf pattern over it. It ended at her knees and she work her black boots that came up to her knees. She had a long, red pea-coat on over the dress as well.

Mark changed into a dressier shirt, but kept on his casual pants. When he came down, he was glad he did, feeling under-dressed. "You look gorgeous." He commented with a smile. He pecked her cheek.

Kara smiled a little at him. "Thanks," she said quietly. "I know... going to a bar doesn't need this but... dinner with my mother does so. Sorry about the fancy ness."

"Sorry? You're beautiful." He said easily. "I love it. Really." He leaned back and smiled at her. "So, do we need some drinks before you tell me what happened?"
