The Doctor smiled and used his little rod thing to scan her arm. He checked its display and nodded easily. "Alright you're clean," he said calmly, pocketing the rod. "And it's just a... a probe, you could say. Nothing to worry about."

Annette frowned. "Clean from what exactly? A probe? For...for what?" She shook her head, confused. "I'm sorry, but this...what is all this?"

The Doctor smiled calmly at her. "You'll catch cold, standing out in the rain like this," he pointed out calmly. "Probably best you get home. Or somewhere dry at least."

Annette frowned and nodded. "O...okay." she said slowly. She slowly turned around and walked away, but it turned in to a run. She was dreaming...because that man creeped her out.
When she got up to her room she groaned. "damnit!" she had left her purse on the ground....

The Doctor moved to walk away, but hit her bag with his purse. He sighed a bit and scooped it up, looking through it in the rain until he found her wallet, looking for her address...

Annette had showered and gotten changed, but she was entirely ready to go back out there with her jacket and umbrella. She kind of was in a daze from...this Doctor person...

There was a knock at her door, the Doctor standing in the hallway, his trench coat dripping, a small puddle already collecting in the carpet.

Annette frowned opening the door. "Oh..." She saw her purse in his hand. "Oh! thank you!" She said softly, taking it from him. "Thank you..." she smiled at him. "Uhm...Doctor was it?"

The Doctor smiled a bit and nodded. "Yup," he said easily. "Found that on the walk. Figured it was something you ought to have back." He nodded to himself and tapped his converse in the puddle he was making. "Anyways. Best be off." He turned to go.

"Wait!" She said. "You're soaked...do you...want to come in for tea?" She asked softly. She didn't know why she was asking a strange man into her dorm room, but, he was kind of cute, in a wacky sort of way. And he did help her...oddly...twice...
She at least owed him tea.

The Doctor slowly turned back to her with a slow smile. "Tea?" he asked. "Haven't been offered tea in America before. You like tea?"

"I love tea." Annette said softly. She smiled a little. "I have all...sorts. I make it from the leaf not the bag."

The Doctor grinned at her. "The proper way," he said easily. "Well. If you're offering that there's no way I could turn it down. I suppose I have time for a cup."

Annette smiled and opened the door for him some some more. She was wearing jeans, and a plaid skirt over them, as well as a loose tshirt. She generally just threw things on, not caring how she looked most days. She moved over to the small sink and stove, put the tea pot on. "Uhm. So what's you're real name?" She asked softly. "You said you were a doctor."

The Doctor smiled at her. "Just the Doctor," he said calmly, stepping into her place and looking around.
