"Stop it," The Doctor answered. He got to the PA room but the door was locked. He murmured something under his breath and pulled out his sonic screwdriver. There was another shriek from the plant creature, although it sounded more above them, than behind... It was climbing the high seats and heading into the stadium to find them.
The door to the room opened after a moment of the Doctor pointing his screwdriver at it and he pushed in quickly, shutting the door behind them. Then he quickly moved to the controls, looking them over quickly. "Alright so... if we turn this on and flip this, and adjust this here..."

Annette watched him, eyes wide. She swallowed a little and shook her head, in disbelief that all this was happening...

The Doctor flipped a few more switches and turned some nobs, then glanced out the window to where the plant creature was slowly decending into the stadium, looking for them.
He nodded and glanced to Annette. "Stay here... You know, I never asked your name, did I? How rude of me."

"Annette..." She said softly. "Just..Annette." She smiled a little at him, playing his game. "Are you going out there?"

The Doctor smiled a bit at her. "Oh yes," he said easily. "Miss Annette. It's my job." He halfway saluted her and easily slipped out the door. But he popped his head back in. "Stay here," he said, pointing. Then he vanished again, only to appear a moment later, walking down the stadium steps calmly, hands in his pockets.
The plant creature turned towards him and let out a scream.

Annette watched out of the glass box. "Your job huh? Some job..." She whispered...

The Doctor walked towards the creature, but stopped as it leapt across the stadium and landed in front of him with another terrible roar. The Doctor didn't even seem phased as he looked up at it.
"So," he said calmly, hands still in his pockets. "I'm gonna give you one more chance. Come with me. Leave these people in peace..." He sighed a bit, shaking his head. "Then you give me no choice..."
He pulled his hand from his pocket, sonic screwdriver in hand. He pointed it at the control room, and Annette, and flipped it on. The sound was intensely amplified through the speakers all around the stadium, the sound wired into the controls from whatever he had done in the room.
The creature reared up, screaming, and flailed around. A couple of its vines went crashing the Doctor's way. He dove out of the way, but the plastic chairs went flying and he was buried. But after that, the creature crumbled. The sound really seemed to affect it...

Annette frowned and watched intently. That was one powerful stick thing....

Everything was still for a long moment, then the plastic chairs shifted and the Doctor scrambled out of the rubble. He looked around and brushed dirt off of his shoulders. The creature groaned though and shifted and the Doctor quickly jumped, running towards the control center. He pushed back into the room and put his sonic screwdriver to the microphone.
The pitch slowly got higher and higher as he made it stronger, and finally, the creature shook and then exploded in a wave of green and brown slime.
The Doctor pulled back as it hit the windows in front of them, making a face.

Annette yelped a little and stumbled back on to the ground. She had to admit, she didn't see that coming....

The Doctor turned to her and offered a hand to help her up. "You okay?" he asked calmly. The rain was already starting to wash the slime off the window.

Annette exhaled and looked out the smudgey window. "Yeah, I'm ... yeah." She took a deep breath. "Thanks for...saving the day." She said softly.

The Doctor smirked and helped her up. "Glad to do it," he said lightly.
