"I don't know. How do you look at me?" Brenodie asked leaning against him smiling through her sips.

Ragnoth shrugged. "I suppose how you're raised considers what is normal or not." he said in finality. It made sense. ''Being an orphan and haveing an evil twin brother, for instance."

Adinar sighed and smiled back. "Are you really that interested in knowing?" the draegloth asked.

"Is Reglier evil or just really, really misguided?" Nellethiel asked, leaning against him.

Brenodie shrugged and tapped him on the nose. "Why not?" she asked. "Unless you look at me with hunger in your eyes planning to eat me for a meal. THEN I don't want to know."

Ragnoth shrugged. "To be honest with you, I don't have a clue. The man knew no other life."

"Not at all," Adinar said with a laugh. "I care for you. That's how I look at you."

"Maybe there's a chance for him," Nellethiel suggested.

Brenodie leaned against him and kissed his chest. "I look at you caringly too, Adinar." she squished the wine in her glass. "And I so glad we get to be here this morning drinking wine together this morning."

Ragnoth sighed. "I don't know, he seems closed minded and I don't want to be the one to have to deal with him even though I know I will."

Adinar chuckled and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "So am I. Are you feeling better now?"

"People are coming," Nellethiel said, looking around.

Brenodie sighed. "Yes, wine always makes everything better." She finished her third glass and her cheeks started to flush. "Well..." she grabbed the wine bottle. "I think that we shouldn't leave eachother."

Ragnoth unsheathed his giant sword and held it at the ready. "Dangerous people?" he asked.

"I agree wholeheartedly," Adinar said moving her into his lap. "Are you really intent on finishing that bottle?"

"I don't know," Nellethiel said, holding her staff at the ready as well.

Brenodie kissed him. "Why? You have something better to do?" she asked falling into his chest and listening to his heart beat.

Ragnoth held up his sword. "Show yourselves! We are armed and ready to fight if necessary!"

"I meant by yourself. You've had how many glasses now?" Adinar asked, putting his arms around her.

Some elven soldiers materialized from the woods, weapons at the ready.

Brenodie looked up and held up her glass. "This is my fourth. what you want me to stop now don't you." she set her wine glass on the end table. "There. Stopped."

Ragnoth put the tip of his sword in the dirt and held up his hands. "We're here in peace."

Adinar gave her a kiss and smiled. "Thank you. I'd like it if you didn't pass out," the draegloth said gently. "You're fun to be around."

"Lady Nellethiel, I did not recognize you from a distance," one of them said. There was a lowering of weapons, hesitantly. "He is with you?"

Nellethiel nodded, and they all backed up, sheathing weapons.

Brenodie rested her head on his chest. "Uh oh..."

Ragnoth picked up his great sword and slung it on his back again. "Ragnoth Blackstone." He said introducing himself.

"What?" Adinar asked with a chuckle.

"Welcome, then," one of the elves said. "We will escort you to the city."

Brenodie closed her eyes. "Its getting veeeerrrryyy sleepy over here." She said with a playful tone. "Very very drunk"
It was likely the wine had taken awhile to get to her head, and it was hitting now, and hard.

Ragnoth nodded, a bit excited, his breathing had picked up a bit. "It's been awhile since I've been to an elven city, Nellethiel. This will be wonde----"
He forgot that the reason why they were there was because something bad had happened. "Well, I sure its a nice place."
