"I don't want to either." He said. "The skull can wait." He rolled over to rest on Missy and kiss her, smiling.

Melissa laughed a little at that, kissing him back. Then she curled into him a bit more and got comfortable again, starting to drift off again.

Steve smiled a little and closed his eyes. But soon, his phone gave off that little jingle. Steve groaned and answered. "Hello?"

Melissa sighed a little and turned over, snuggling with her pillow instead. She didn't want to get up at all. It was way too early.

Steve got up and collected his clothes. He shirked on his jacket and covered her up before leaving.
Apparently the Red Skull couldn't wait...

Melissa woke up a couple hours later and frowned, seeing that Steve was gone. She got up and grabbed her phone, calling him.

Steve answered. "Hello?" He asked, not knowing who it was. He wasn't sure if he could trust caller ID.

"Hey Steve," Melissa said softly, rubbing one eye. "Where are you?"

"I'm at the base." Steve said. "Apparently the Red Skull wants something from me before he tells Fury about something. Who knows what they're asking. It's starting to upset me."

Melissa got up and started getting dressed. "I'll be right down, okay?" she said softly.

"Okay, thanks Missy. I'm stalling them as long as I can." He said. "The second you start negotiating---"
The phone cut off.

Melissa frowned and got dressed all the quicker. She felt bad leaving Cosmo but she didn't feel like she could take him either. She rushed out of the place and down to SHIELD.

Steve was with Banner, and he was taking his blood.
"Missy." Steve said, seeing her walking in. Banner glanced up. Behind his work station, a huge machine was starting to take its shape as workers carefully constructed it.

Melissa slipped into the room, feeling more than hearing, Steve. She smiled a little and waved a bit, although she didn't go over, since there were needles and blood. "Hey," she said quietly.

"That should be it Steve. Thanks." Banner said softly. He pulled back and looked to Missy. Steve was in his uniform, and he walked over to her easily. "Thanks for coming by." He whispered.
