Brothers
by Azzeel and AdoacPM Member on Mon, 27 July 2009 00:00

It was a hot summer night in the Green Dragon inn, and Azzeel Valirthe sat at a table with an elf on his lap, flirtatiously kicking her leg out and whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
Even though Azzeel was a Dragonborn, the women always sensed something attractive about him, and at least one would stick on like a magnet each visit.

Adoac sat at the bar and sipped his water. He had been scolded when he talked to his brother while he had women near him. Although the large Dragonborn didn't know why, he hated to make Azzeel angry with him.
Just then, two women sat on either side of Adoac and the bartender shook his head and walked away.
"Hey there big guy, wanna play?" one asked rubbing his shoulder. The other leaned against him. "You look like you could handle both of us."
Adoac grinned. "What are w-w-we playing?"
"Oh, why don't you pick."
Adoac thought for awhile. "I could ask my b-brother for his deck of cards and w-w-we can play with those. Or we can p-p-play checkers. They have a board right---"
"Not those kinds of games!" One of the women said in disbelief. She looked at her partner with a quizzical look.
"Oh." Adoac said bending his brow. "You said I c-c-an pick..."

Azzeel broke his kiss and looked to his brother. He was keeping a close eye on him, but got too distracted. He saw the two women and sighed. "I'll be right back." He said sliding away from the woman on his lap and walking over. "Hey, girls. Leave him alone will you?"
The girls cocked an eyebrow at the same time.
"What's it to you."
Azzeel shook his head. "Really. Can't you tell he can't understand? Just leave him alone."
Adoac lowered his head as the two girls scoffed and walked away. "W-w-hy you always chase away my f-f-riends?" he asked.
Azzeel sat down at the bar and looked back toward the table; the woman he was with was gone already. "I'm just doing what's best for you."
"Are y-y-ou mad at me?"
"Of course not." Azzeel said slapping his brother's back.
Every goddamn night I get so close... Azzeel thought bitterly as he looked at his brother. He wasn't suppose to be the father.

A hooded and cloaked figure walked in and watched the exchange. She chuckled silently and flicked her tail. Never seen someone so clueless...she thought to herself.

Aiyana followed Ti'ali in, pulling up her mask a little more. She saw the half-fiend's silent chuckle. "Did I miss something?" the elementalist asked softly, raising an eyebrow. Her brown hair was half in her face, since being half eladrin was not always a good thing. She favored her mother pretty strongly with the green eyes and almost translucent skin, along with her build.

Azzeel sighed and ordered himself a drink. The bartender looked to Adoac. "You gunna have anything besides water?" he asked raising an eyebrow. Azzeel sipped his ale. He couldn't afford to get drunk so much anymore.
"No. Azzeel says I can't."
The bartender twisted his mouth and looked to the other dragonborn next to him. They looked identical. Except very easy to tell apart. Adoac was large and had great girth. He wore a tanned vest but no shirt. Azzeel was beefy and thick, and had the slightes gut falling over his belt.
"He's fine." Azzeel told the bartender.
"Whatever." The bartender said walking away to wipe down the other side of the counter.

Ti shrugged a bit, flicking her tail slightly as she indicated the group before signing toward her, One of the men was clueless when a couple of whores flirted with him.

"Dragonborn grow physically very quickly. Maybe he just looks big, but is still a child inside," Aiyana said with a shrug. "Are we staying the night in this place?"

Ti shrugged, signing to her again. Why not? Could use a drink anyway.

"How old you two anyway." the bartender ask in conversation.
"Nineteen." Azzeel answered. The bar got rather quiet and all he heard was that there was a woman talking behind him. He paused to look around, raising an eyebrow at the two women.
"You're kidding me?" the bartender looked to Adoac. That dragonborn sure didn't act nineteen. "Both of you."
Azzeel turned his attention back.
"Yeah, you gotta a problem with that?" Azzeel hissed angrily. He wished everyone would leave his brother alone.
"We-e-re twins." Adoac grinned. "S-ame age."
"Damn right." Azzeel said.
"D-d-amn right." Adoac repeated.
The bartender shook his head.
"One got the short straw," he muttered walking away.
Azzeel's glare shot up in a flash.
"Excuse me?!"

Aiyana gently touched Ti'ali's shoulder. "Ti, get us a table. There might be some trouble soon," she said in her customary soft tone. Aiyana never raised her voice unless it was a real emergency.

The mute fiendkin nodded and walked over to a table, sitting down before flipping her hood and cloak off, the skin on her shoulderblades fluttering a bit in an uneasy way. She curled her tail around her bare thigh. She was wearing a skirt and a corset - not much at all, but enough to cover her in a barely acceptable way. She was quite attractive, and had pale grey skin, red eyes, and a long tail.

Her teeth were pointed and she had fangs, and a pair of horns grew out of her forehead. She was an unsettling, but very tempting sight.

Adoac looked to Azzeel.
"B-b-brother?"
Azzeel stood up. "You wanna repeat that?"
The bartender looked back between the two. He was unsure of the two dragonborn. "Hey look I don't want any trouble."
"Then don't make it." he hissed. "I suggest you think of something fast to repair this situation."
The bartender held up his hands. "A'right aright. Next drinks on me."
Azzeel gave him a half smile. He did sometimes use the situation to his advantage. But anyone making fun of his brother was a cheap shot and it upset him.
Adoac smiled. "Y-y-ou don't have to pay."
Azzeel smirked. "Not a coin."

Aiyana watched the situation cool off and sat down at the table, waving a hand slightly to get some service. "Ti, you're buying my drink," Aiyana informed her quietly.

Ti looked over to the two dragonkin, tilting her head a bit. Hm. The one is fierce...she thought to herself.

She then looked to Ai and rolled her eyes, signing. Fine.

Azzeel heard that and turned around. He said something to Adoac and he nodded before hopping off the stool and strolling. Not strutting over to the table. He had a handsome air to him, even with his appearance. "Hey ladies. Allow me to buy you a drink instead?"
He flat out pulled up a chair and sat down.

"I'd be willing to accept a stranger's generosity," Aiyana said with a shrug. She glanced over at Ti'ali and signed, Try not to attract any more attention, alright?
