Kyndal smiled and handed him the carton of juice. "Drink up," she said. "Liquid sun." She slipped inside and walked to the kitchen, remembering where it was.

Ryan smiled and sipped at the orange juice. "Hope I'm not allergic to the liquid form." He smiled ar her and laid down on the couch again, huddled in a blanket. Toilet paper was his tissue supply, and they were scattered everywhere on the couch, table and floor.

Kyndal unpacked the bag she had brought, and set tissues on the table in front of him. Then she quickly set about making up the soup. "I hope you like vegis," she said lightly.

Ryan nodded. "Yeah." He said softly. He liked eating healthier. It made him feel better and was good vitamen C and D.
"Thank you."

Kyndal smiled and nodded. "Of course," she said softly. She made up the soup easily and brought it over to him, a hot pad under the pot. She handed him a spoon as well.

Ryan smiled a bit and sat up a little bit. "Thanks." He said, his nose completely stuffed, and his eyes were watering a little. "I couldn't even function today."

Kyndal smiled and nodded. "Karma I guess," she said. "For me being entirely dysfunctional yesterday."

Ryan laughed a little. "You're already taking care of me." He murmured softly, eating his soup. "I kind of wanted to show you the good time before I showed you how pathetic I was when I'm sick."

Kyndal smiled at him wider and shrugged. "Well... so far we're definitely not... conventional. Why not do everything backwards?"

Ryan snorted a little, but he blew his nose right after and sneezed. He whined and little and lay his head down on the arm of the couch. "Yeah, I'll give it a try. I just get sick a lot." He murmured.

Kyndal glanced at him and nodded a bit. "You know why?" she asked. "Just a lame immune system?"

Ryan sighed. "Yeah." He said softly. "I have EEP along with some autoimmune issues." He said softly. "EEP is allergy to sunlight, and in my case I got it bad. Not supposed to live as long as I have but, I'm safe and I take vitamens and stuff. And that doesn't bode well for my immune system."

Kyndal nodded slowly. "Sounds sucky," she said quietly. "I"m sorry."

Ryan shurgged. "I don't mind. It just gets lonely so when you showed up out of the blue, and then we exchanged numbers." He paused to sneeze and blow his nose. "It was like a miracle. Guess Grandpa really wanted you to come around huh?"

Kyndal smiled a bit and nodded. "Yeah," she whispered. "I guess so." She sighed and got up, searching around the kitchen for a bit. Finally she found a plastic bag and started cleaning up his tissues.
