Kleo laughed and shook her head jokingly. She handed him some jerky though. "I'll have to hunt for us tonight, I think," she said quietly.

"You? Hunt?" Max snorted in disbelief. "Really? I can't even hunt. I'm good at bringing down the big stuff but, I'm always too impatient."

Kleo laughed. "I cheat," she said lightly. "But you'll have to wait til tonight to see that."

Maxim grinned. "Really? What's your secret? Do you turn into a real foxy too?"

Kleo frowned at him. "No fair!" she whined. "You ruined it... now it won't be a surprise...."

Max grinned. "Oh man that's awesome!" He pointed and hugged her tightly. "Man I really want to join you now!"

Kleo rolled her eyes a bit at that last comment. "Well mine's more magic than anything else," she said quietly. "So if you become a mage you could do it."

Max snorted. "Yeah right. I doubt I have any of that talent." He said softly. "It sounds like too much work."

Kleo laughed softly. "It is a lot of work," she conceded. "But it's usually worth it. Nothing worth getting is easy, right?"

Max smiled nd glanced over. "Well, that depends." He said softly, looking down at her. "What if you're meant to get something and it ends up being easy because she feels the same way?"

Kleo laughed softly, shaking her head. "Love is never easy, Max," she said lightly. "That one's one of the hardest."

Maxim sighed. "How did you even know what I was talking about?" He asked, thinking he had been vague.

Kleo glanced at him with a grin. "Because that's what we've been talking about for the past hour," she said lightly.

Max sighed and crosses his arms. "So what? I'm a hopeless romantic. There. You figured me out I guess. Mystery is gone."

Kleo laughed softly again, shaking her head. "Weren't you the one yesterday telling me I needed to lighten up?" She poked his arm a few times. "Relax, would ya?"
