Deshwitat knocked the young man aside with enough strength that he would have fallen to the ground. Then he eyed the priestess.
Lorelei hesitated, panicking, looking between all of them. "I can't teach you!" she shouted desperately. "I wouldn't know how! But... but... I know a place. Please... let her go. I can get you there."
Deshwitat watched her for a moment, but he lowered the girl and pushed her into the priestess. "Fine. Good enough." He turned to the young man. "You'll be coming as well. All the more leverage to get blondie over there to listen. Let's get out of this place."

Deus grunted with pain as he fell back into the snow. He rubbed his shoulder, having fallen wrong on it. He stuggled to his feet and frowned. "Where are we going?" He asked slowly. He was really terrified now. He really had no choice but to follow the man.

Aveline gasped for air once she was let go and made sure not to knock completely into Lorelei. "Sorry." She said quietly to her. Avi held onto her neck for a moment, rubbing it and glanced up at the vampire, her eyes studying him before she looked to the other man and then the priestess.

Deshwitat looked to Lorelei, waiting for her answer.
Lorelei swallowed, glancing to the others. "Hong Kong," she said quietly. "We'll... need to get a plane."
Deshwitat paused for a moment, not knowing what that was. But he shook that off. "Fine. Then we'll need a place to stay until you arrange... that."

Deus blinked. "Hong Kong? I can't go to Hong Kong!" He objected quickly. He pushed his hair back and swallowed. "But I know a place we can crash. Okay? So just... I'll bring you there and then I'm done." He studied the three of this before dipping his face in his hands for a moment and dragging them down. "But first, I wanna know who the hell you people are, and what the hell those things were." He gestured.

Aveline paused for a moment, watching the three other people, but then she smiled. "I'd really like to go." She said, piping up, looking to Lorelei and then to the vampire. A real one... right there in front of her... She couldn't really help but smile.

Deshwitat smirked. "Those creatures were Laknes," he said. "Servants to zombie lords."
Lorelei nodded slowly. "And... my name is Lorelei. I'm an exorcist." She glanced to Deshwitat. "And he's a vampire..."
"We should be going," Deshwitat said, cutting off further conversation. "This place we can stay is..." He looked to the man with a firm look.

Deus blinked, really feeling that he was dreaming. "My parents house. They're vacationing in italy for three weeks. They won't be there." He said softly. He was more of in a daze right now then anything else. "Just...follow me to my car."

Aveline nodded, trying to hide her smile and started following the rest of them. She glanced from Desh to Lorelei, but then she turned her head to look at the body slumped on ground. "Should... we do anything for him?" She asked her.

Deshwitat glanced to Lorelei as the woman hesitated. He frowned a bit and walked over to the man. With a blast from his hand, the body vanished into sand.
"What are you doing?!" Lorelei shouted, surprised and mad.
Deshwitat knelt and scooped up some of the sand. He ripped a piece of his cloak free and tied the sand in it. Then he tossed it to Lorelei. "You know what to do with that."
"But... he'll come back as a..."
"Do it once I'm dead. I've no desire to stay long in this world. Help me finish this, and you'll have your mentor back." He turned back to Deus and gestured for him to lead the way again.

Deus swallowed hard and nodded, looking between the three. He felt sick. He'd feel better once all this was explained, but, still. For now he didn't feel like he was in an ideal situation.
He led them to his car, which luckily was a black jeep and big enough for all of them to have enough room. He got in the driver's seat numbly.

Aveline had watched what the vampire had done and then she glanced to Lorelei. "What are you going to do with that?" She asked, wanting to know, but once it left her mouth she realized how insensitive that had been. She slipped into the car with the rest of them.

Deshwitat got into the front seat, after subtly watching how the others got in. He sat down, a bit confused by the horseless carriage. But he wasn't about to let that show.
Lorelei sat in the back next to Aveline. She glanced over. "It's um... it's dust of life..." she said quietly, staring at the bag in her hands. "It'll... resurrect him if... combined with the blood of a virgin..." She glanced up at Deshwitat's back, wondering how his own dust had even gotten there... It had to have been trapped in one of the creatures she'd killed. That was all she could think of...

"Dust...blood of virgins. Vampires." Deus murmured as he started the car. "I feel like I'm a lunatic." He breathed.
He drove off campus and down some backstreets. It was almost three am now, and he was really exhausted. Maybe this was some sort of horrible trip--he didn't really know how that would happen, but...none of this could be real. He sighed and parked in the driveway of a huge two story house. His parents were certainly weathy.

Aveline shook her head. "I think it's really pretty fascinating." She said quietly and then nodded to Lorelei. "I've read about that. Have you ever tried... resurrecting someone before?" She asked quietly, glancing up at the vampire and then back at Lorelei with a small hopeful smile.
