Eryn smiled a little, stepping back. "I think that's the one with a cherry inside it," she whispered.

"How do they get a cherry inside of something so small?" He asked softly. He closed the lid on the box and handed it back to her. He held the small piece with both sets of fingers, curiously inspecting it.

Eryn blinked a bit that he gave it back. She had thought he'd take all of them. She licked her lips. "They melt the chocolate," she answered quietly. "Dip the cherry in it."

"Oh." Vander said slowly, moving to the bed and sitting down. He nibbled on the chocolate, smiling easily. "This is fantastic." He said lightly.

Eryn smiled softly over at him and nodded a little. "Is that... the only one you want?" she whispered, shifting her hold on the little box.

Vander smiled at her. "I believe it is an even trade." He said easily. He popped the rest of the candy into his mouth and chewed. "Mm." He smiled at her. "I am glad you followed your end of our deal."

Eryn smiled a little and gave the little box a tiny squeeze, happy she got to keep some. She tucked it back away in the corner between her bed and the wall. "I'm glad you liked it so much," she whispered, turning to him again.

Vander smiled easily. "So what do you want me to do next? I can track those men down and make sure they never hurt anyone again." He said softly.

Eryn looked at him for a moment, but slowly shook her head. "I think I'll just... tell the guards about them," she whispered. "They should be arrested..." But she wasn't able to wish death on anyone like that...

Vander nodded slowly. "I see. You are not like the others." He told her. He seemed a bit confused. "You are not rich. You do not have blood lust." He look over to her.

Eryn swallowed quietly, her cheeks fading pink in the dim room at the mention of not being rich. She hated that. But she slowly shook her head a bit. "True," she whispered. "Is that... a problem?"

"No." Vander said softly. "Not at all. Better. You are not like the others. They use me to kill. I can be used for so much more."

Eryn licked her lips a little, looking up to him. "Like what?" she asked curiously. Although she wanted to tell him she didn't want to use him at all.

Vander shrugged. "I haven't a clue." He said simply. "Helping you, for one. Healing your hand when it was cut. I liked doing that. I've never done that before. Restore something. I am always ordered to take it away."

Eryn smiled softly at him. "Well I won't do that," she whispered. "Or... order you." She frowned a little. "I don't like the sound of all that."
