Kiya woke up as Evhad left the bed and she slowly sat up as he checked on his child. "Morning," she whispered.

"Morning." Evhad said, handing her the tea easily. "He's still sleeping." He grinned at his child and looked to her.

Kiya smiled a little, taking the tea. "That's good, right?" she asked softly.

"I think so." Evhad said. "He needs it. He won't be sleeping a lot when he gets older." He shrugged.

Kiya smiled a little and slowly nodded. "Well I'm glad," she said quietly. "He seems better."

Evhad nodded. "He does." He said softly. "But it will be a long rode ahead. It is not over yet. But I think we have a fighter."

Kiya smiled a little and nodded, sipping her warm tea. "I think he will make it," she said softly.

"I hope he does too." Evhad said softly. He looked to her and smiled. "Let us pack up. We have a long day today."

Kiya nodded a little. "Is there... anything I can help with?" she asked softly. She was good at keeping herself and the baby out of the way but if there was anything else within the tent before that part she thought she could be a little less useless.

Evhad glanced over. "You do fine with the baby. I greatly appreciate that." He said easily. "Thank." He nodded to her and rolled up the bedroll and carpet.

Kiya smiled a little and nodded. She gently scooped up the baby, trying not to wake him if she could manage that. But she grabbed his rag and the small jug of milk just in case.

Evhad had everything packed in no time. It was going to be a long day though. Hot too. He hoped that everything went okay from here on out...he didn't want to tell Kiya about the Raiders...

Kiya fed the baby when he woke, and then let Evhad help her onto the horse yet again. "You know," she said softly, when they started out. "I had never ridden a horse before this."

Evhad glanced over. "Well you will become master of one short time yes?" He smiled. "It is the animal of my people."

Kiya smiled a little and nodded. "It seems like there is a lot for you to teach me," she said softly.
