After hearing him fail the login five times, Jamie walked over and leaned over him, typing in his password quickly. She smiled at him and straightened. "Anything else you need, Mr Reed?" she asked calmly.

"Can you write a really clear yet smart and sweet break up email? Its not you its me, really theres no one else? all that?" He asked slowly, scrawling through his inbox.

Jamie smiled a little and nodded. "Sure, Mr Reed," she said softly. "I'll forward it to you once I'm finished." With that, she moved out of the office and to her desk, easily taking a seat. She finished the appointment cancellations, then started writing up the email for him.

Lars ended up falling asleep at his desk, drooling all over his jacket. The phone rang though, and he jumped. He saw it was on the 6th line --- that was always his dad. "shit." He breathed. He picked up the phone. "Reed."
"You mind telling me why all your morning appointments were cancelled? Again?"
"Uhhh." Lars wiped a hand over his face. "They all got the flu."

Jamie finished the email by ten and forwarded it to Mr Reed. She worked on a small amount of paperwork, but then she was practically finished with all her day's work. She crossed her legs under her desk and played solitaire, unsure what else to do to keep busy.

Lars pushed out of the room. "Come on, lunch with me." He waved. "It's important. Grab that little leather book planning thing you bring." He reminded her, adjusting his jacket.

Jamie jumped a little, but quickly got up, logging out of her computer easily. "Of course, Mr Reed," she said. She grabbed her bag, in which her day planner always sat, and quickly followed him down the hall. "Bad news, sir?"

"Yeah." Lars murmured slowly. "Dad called. He's pretty pissed we cancelled this morning. But I'll get to make twenty calls and schmooze enough to reschedule. Just...need you."

Jamie slowly nodded, stepping into the elevator with him. "We can do that," she said easily. "Not a problem."

"If I was as impotent as my dad I would be as successful as he is. Women are the end of me." He pointed to her. "Except in your case."

Jamie smirked a little at that, looking at him. "Well thank you, Mr Reed," she said, playfully and a little sarcastic. "We'll fix this. Don't worry. Now. Where are we going for lunch?" She stepped off the elevator and headed for the front doors with him.

"I thought I'd take you to that fancy restaurant I wanted to take you to for that date you never agreed to." He said with a shrug. "Best shrimp and steak."

Jamie smirked a little. "As a business lunch?" she asked calmly. She didn't have anything against the man, but he was her boss, and she refused to be that secretary.

"Completely business." He promised with a smile. He walked with her to his car --- it was a ridiculous Audi A8. It had been a little spoil for himself. He loved his car.
He opened up the door for her.

Jamie smirked, sliding into the front seat gracefully. "Alright," she said calmly. "I could go for some shrimp."
