Christopher studied the two. "Uhm. You guys...alright?" He turned back to the shelf. "I mean you're really nice, ma'am." He gestured to Charloise. "But 'Kat'? Doesn't look like she really wants to help so. I'm alright, okay? Just...I'll find things and I'll be on my way. No trouble."
He sensed the tension, and it was rather awkward. One liked him a lot and the other hated the one that liked him, apparently. He didn't want to start a fight.

Kat blinked. "Oh... sorry," she murmured. "Umm today was... really boring. You're the first one in here in... three days?" She sighed and shook her head. "Sorry." She stepped away, back to the store room to fix what she'd knocked over. Dammit... first cute guy in like... ever! But of course Charli'll get him. She always does...

Charli sighed and looked determined. She smiled over at the new kid. "My name's Charli. That's Kat and don't worry about it." She shrugged. "I think... I want some coffee? WIll you get some coffee with us? Me and Kat I mean. SHe needs a break from this place... really and I can totally create a diversion to get her out of here." She smiled at him. "You're basically the first new face we've both seen in so long."

Chris nodded and looked down. "Uhm...yeah if you guys---want me to go out for coffee." He managed a smile. Really?
"And I guess everyone needs a break from the oridinary."

Kat kept stacking boxes, but she had to keep pausing to lick the drips of blood off her elbow. Should find a band aid...

Charli grinned. "Great!" She said. "Follow me? We gotta find her." She winked and started walking to the back, finding Kat stacking boxes. "Hey. So.... I know you're working and all, but will you come to coffee? You and me and.... Alright, embarrassing... We don't know your name yet." She laughed.

"It's Christopher." He said with a timid smile. He was getting nervous. What if she wouldn't come? What if she was mad at what he said. What if she didn't like him?

Kat turned to face them and nodded quickly. "Just a sec," she said. She slipped past them and grabbed a small bandage from behind the desk and then shouting up the stairs. "Going for a break! Be back eventually."
There was some reply of acknowledgement and she smiled. "Let's get the hell out of here!"

Christopher smiled at the two girls and looked to her arm. "Are you alright?" He asked, setting the basket down to come back for it later. "You need help with that?"

Charli looked over at Kat, seeing that she was still bleeding. "Yes." She grinned and answered for her. "I mean, you don't have to help, but it'd be nice, right?" She shrugged and walked down the street to her favorite cafe. "I'm horrible with that sort of stuff."

Kat waved him away, smiling though. "I'm fine, it's just a scrape." She followed after Charli, gesturing for Christ to follow. "That store room just hates me. Tries to eat me every time..."

Chris laughed. "Eat you really?" He asked lightly, feeling a bit more comfortable since the invitation. "That's not very nice of it! Not very nice at all!"
Chris was a tall young man. Blonde hair like his father and a stunning resemblance. He had piercings, more so then his father at that. His ears and eyebrow easily. His eyes were young and pure.

Thomas whistled aboard the Lucky Lady, wiping grease off his hands. "Leslie!" he called, wondering where she was. He hoped she was feeling a bit better then this past week.

Kat shrugged, smiling a bit. "Well... it's a mean place," she said. "But now we're free and there's coffee to be had! Right?"

Leslie sighed and stretched, getting up. She was already dressed and everything, but with how she'd been feeling a nap after breakfast had sounded amazing. "Yeah hon?" she called back, leaning out of the room.

Thomas smiled and kissed her. "Hey, you feeling better?" he asked lightly, smiling his usually bright smile. He sat on their bed and cracked his back. The Lucky Lady was still around now, but he hated to admit she was falling apart. On her last legs. And he could just tell, looking at the walls of their room, cracking and yellow. The pipes had been replaced but some parts were still old. It was turning into a constant maintenance job.

Leslie shrugged. "A little," she said. "Just... tired." She sighed and sat next to him, kissing his cheek again before falling back onto the bed. "How's our boy?"
