In a world powered by steam and gears, the true heroes are those with a knack for technology. If it flies, perhaps it can cross the Great Ice Desert to the volcanic region of Vitessen, the Kingdom of One Million Forges. It's a neutral kingdom, known for its superior skills in working the many metals that come through due to the volcanic power behind their forges. It's a dangerous place though, as the Bay of Fire has sometimes caused a few towns and cities to vanish.

Or perhaps south is more your style, to the Iron Realm of Ferroun, settled in the Great Barrier Mountains, a range that separates the lands from the harsh weather of the Ice Desert, where mines and mountains make the land harsh, and the cities taller than wider. Cities are built up the mountains and are widest at the base. Airship ports are often high up with many steam powered elevators running everything.

Looking for a more mellow climate? Then cross the Crystal Sea, a great sea surrounded by a circle of seven kingdoms, to the other parts of the Circle Kingdoms, or maybe cross the endless blue behemoth of the West Blue, the great ocean that goes on endlessly into the far west, to the steam powered paradise of a kingdom, fabled to hold machines unlike any ever built before! The steam powered Eden is a journey made by all unlikely people missing a few screws needing to try to accomplish what no one else ever has! Though if you search, be wary of losing power and ending up on one of the many Grave Isles scattered around the ocean, where lost explorers and their dreams fail and wither away.

Of course further east, across the Silver Straight, so named for the silver fish that litter it until in the bright midday light it looks silver, there's Anderon, the Misty Isles Kingdom encased in an almost ever persistent fog. It's wealth from the jewel mines, most specifically the quartz mines scattered around the isles, allow them to run more technology than most kingdoms.

Where are we now? Well, if you're still talking to me, you're in the Golden Gear Tavern, in the port city of Rachette, a town of inventors. This is the kingdom of Malroon. Take a steamboat across the Straight if you want to go to Anderon. Oh? You want to know something else? About the other five circle kingdoms? You'll have to go exploring yourself. I'm no travel guide.

... ... ...

What's that? You're new here and looking for a job? Why didn't you say so? Well, if you go down main street, we've got the Vandermill Library, a four story library with everything from books to schematics. Over two streets and north we've got the airship yard. Lately though; and I'm tellin'you this cause I like you; go outside and take a right out the door, and go to the big fortress of a building. They're always looking for workers. It's called Bright Futures Labs. They work on the newest gear soldiers and workers. Tell them Ole Sparks sent you.

A bit delayed so as not to swipe any of eyeofthenyte's members, L'Eviria is now open! Take a look at the description and the map to get an idea of the geography, and then jump on in! The world is quite open ended, so feel free to tweak it as you want---Just don't add things like new continents and keep it human and steampunk---and have some fun!

This world is new and open! Feel free to ask any questions, post any comments on the comments for the news article. I'll get to them ASAP.

Time to cut this short. I believe in a more actions over words when it comes to announcing a group. Join up and have fun! A world waiting to be explored is here!

"There are no rules here, we're just trying to accomplish something." ----Thomas A. Edison
