Character Highlights

Davor Stoker
***

A familiar armored black horse galloped toward the manor from the distance. This didn't cause for much disturbance though.
Davor was always charging his horse down the road. He had to have some thrill in his life.
He dismounted and limped strongly to the guards. &#034;Let me in.&#034; He demanded. He was in full leather armor, and he wore a large green cloak that flowed behind him. He was a rugged looking fellow, and rarely was he clean shaven.

Character Highlights

Riki Wyradye
***

Riki walked around the corner, a bundle of swords in her arms. &#034;Already ahead of you father,&#034; she said quietly. She carefully set the swords on the table, unrolling the cloth she'd wrapped them in. She smiled a little at him, then took the sword he'd been sharpening to be polished.
Riki was a small sort of young woman. A little on the short side, and slender, but her quiet, calm nature made her seem all the smaller. She had long, deeply brown hair and pretty green eyes. She wore simple clothes, and more often than not had oil stains on the thighs of her leggings from polishing the blades her father kept. She wasn't exactly excited for the arrival of the Judge, but she understood the importance of it.

Bored of Limitations.

Are you as bored of all the limitations in FARMTOWN, HALO and the hundreds of thousands of other modern games offer. The endless carrot on a stick game of leveling up... getting points and having nothing to show for your accomplishments. When was the last time you got a wild hair and drew up a new design of a sword, a gun or a building or race. Dreamed up a new character and wanted to discover how it would interact with others. Have you ever roleplayed for 24 hours straight with no pictures or sound effects whatsoever? Maybe you just found the right place for you. Right here on Fantasyrole... where the only limitation is your own imagination. Come together as a group of players and build your own world, tavern, universe... and interact with other players doing the exact same thing. The only boredom around here... gets regularly vanquished by giant tortilla monsters made of bellion gas.

Taggy-Thingies

To help smooth things over, and to demonstrate that I'm not quite a vestigial mod yet (ask your parents), I think it might be helpful for people if we use tags in the titles of threads to give their status. I see this on pretty much every other site, so what the hell?

OPEN - Anybody can post, though you might want to run your ideas past someone first.

SEMI OPEN/CLOSED - Ask for permission first, but it is up for new people.

CLOSED - No touchy; it's someone's private thread unless they tell you that it's all good.

Hopefully, these can clear up any confusion and misunderstandings for everyone involved. Have a great time with RPs, and let me or any of the other mods know uf you need help. Voodoo summoning ritual remains optional.

Concerning Site Activity

***
We've recently hit a waning in incoming members and thread activity. I know everyone is busy with their finals and the holidays, which is why I plan, starting January 1st, advertising the site. I encourage all of the fans to bring in friends, family, or fans to participate in an Roleplaying Event to REEL in more members.

More details will be provided soon, so stay tuned!

Thank you for participating in Fantasyrole.org

Just a reminder that <a href=&#034;http://www.nanowrimo.org/&#034;>NaNoWriMo</a> (National Novel Writing Month) is underway.

Can you write a novel in a month? If you needed an excuse to pick yourself up and get motivated, this just may be it.

Fantasyrole.org Has Been Epicly Renewed

ON THIS HISTORIC DAY!

Thy gauntlet hath been passed! Fantasyrole has been renewed. No more will we worry about the future of this beloved hub! No more will we tremble in the uncertainty! NO MORE....will we doubt this site's function.

For another year at least.

So heed my words brethren! Friends and newcomers! Recreationalists and obsessors...
Fantasyrole....will live another day.

Approximately 364 more of them.

I want to thank thy gracious SilverLord for making thy site possible. For hearing the words and cries of fans to not let this site perish! I, Unferth, have gladly taken it upon myself to see that Fantasyrole continues it's march strong and true!

For the next 11 months and a day.

Welcome New Moderator

Attention Everyone!

I would like to welcome our newest Moderator to the site, Enalla Tein. Enalla has been the top contributor to the site on two accounts. She has generated the most characters, AND has accumulated unearthly amounts of XP.
She has been with FR since July 24th, 2008, and she knows the ins and outs of this site since before its rebirth. She is the creator of the top group, Wanderer's Twilight, and has been a significant help to all our staff and other FR members, not to mention a great friend.

So welcome Enalla, your future contributions to this site will be much welcomed.
